BFM to grow export support for members

The British Furniture Manufacturers’ Association (BFM) is looking to enhance its current export offering for members, building on what has been established and working with partners to explore new avenues.

The BFM has already commenced the strategy by developing an Export Portal for members, which allows them to access key market information and guidance. Plans are also being developed to increase export activity within the Russian market and elsewhere.

In addition to the new activity, the BFM is continuing its well-established support for members exhibiting at the Milan fair next week. Steve Moore is currently overseeing the support role for this event, and BFM MD Jackie Bazeley will also be attending the exhibition. This is with a view to meeting with existing and potential BFM members and the show’s organisers with regard to expansion of the BFM offering.

Jackie sees this as an exciting time for the growth of this and other membership benefits. She also wishes Adam Mason, who until recently was responsible for export at the BFM, all the best in the future.
