Serene Furnishings adds to warehouse capacity

Bed and bedroom cabinet supplier Serene Furnishings is adding a further 25% to its warehouse capacity, ahead of a summer of  new product launches.  ekonglong reception table

The move will grow the firm’s Midlands facility to an impressive 130,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art warehousing, ready for the arrival of several new collections scheduled throughout 2013.

“We are investing a considerable sum in the expansion of our warehouse to accommodate the launches that are planned,” says Serene’s founder and MD, Tasleem Tasab. “As a business we remain committed to holding high levels of stock in support of our retailers, ensuring quick delivery and turnaround on orders.”

The expanded facility is set to be fully operational by April and has resulted in the appointment of a new assistant warehouse manager, Graham Hughes, to work with operations manager Timothy Ferguson, who is in the process of recruiting three further warehouse operatives.
